HomeBuildersMN.com is an informational directory and builder-matching service. By using the site you agree to these terms.

Directory Information

We work to keep builder information accurate and verified (see how we vet & rank), but we provide it "as is," without warranty. Licensing status, awards, service areas, and pricing change; always verify current license status with the Minnesota Department of Labor & Industry and confirm details directly with any builder before contracting.

No Endorsement; Independent Contractors

A listing or match is not an endorsement, guarantee, or warranty of any builder's work. Builders are independent businesses — we are not a party to any contract between you and a builder, and we are not responsible for their work, pricing, or conduct. Cost figures on the site are editorial planning estimates, not quotes.

The Matching Service

Matching is free to homeowners. When you submit the form, you authorize us to share your submission with matched builders as described in the privacy policy and the consent language on the form. We may be compensated by builders for leads or advertising — disclosed in full at how we make money.

Acceptable Use

Don't scrape the directory at scale, submit false information through our forms, or use the site to spam builders or homeowners. We may block abusive traffic.

Intellectual Property

Site content (editorial, data compilation, design) is ours or licensed to us. Builder names and marks belong to their owners and appear for identification.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HomeBuildersMN is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or from engagements with builders found through it. Our total liability for any claim is limited to $100.
