Hansen Builders is a third-generation Chanhassen family firm founded in 1962 by Doug Hansen and Tom Klingelhutz, who built more than 200 homes in the city’s Western Hills neighborhood. Gary and Charlie Hansen run it today, handling residential remodeling and commercial work across the southwest metro, and the company has been crafting homes for over sixty years.
The business incorporated as Hansen Hometech in 1986 and says its name is now evolving to Hansen Builders to reflect the full scope of its work.
