What We Collect
- Matching-form submissions: project details (city, project type, budget band, timeline, financing status, lot status), your name, email, phone number, and any message you include.
- Usage data: standard analytics (pages visited, referrer, device type) via privacy-respecting analytics tools; our forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes technical signals to block spam.
- Builder inquiries: business contact details you send when requesting a listing.
How We Use and Share It
The purpose of the matching form is to connect you with builders, so when you submit it, we share your project details and contact information with up to three matched builders so they can contact you about your project. That sharing, and the consent you give for it (including contact by phone, text, and email), is described on the form itself. We do not sell your information to data brokers or share it for unrelated marketing.
We also use submissions internally to operate and improve the matching service, and we retain them for our records and legal compliance.
Your Choices
- You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you've submitted by emailing hello@homebuildersmn.com from the address you used.
- Consent to be contacted is not a condition of using the rest of the site; the directory and guides require no personal information at all.
- Once your details are shared with a builder, that builder's own privacy practices apply to their copy; opt out with them directly and we'll assist if needed.
