Parade of Homes
These are independent guides, not the official site. The Parade of Homes is organised by Housing First Minnesota. For tour listings, individual home details and directions, go to paradeofhomes.org.
The Parade of Homes is Minnesota’s twice-yearly open-house tour of newly built and remodelled homes across the Twin Cities metro. It runs in spring and again in autumn, and for most buyers it is the only chance in the year to walk through a finished house from a builder they are considering — not a showroom, not a rendering, a real home on a real lot.
Our guides do one thing the tour itself cannot: they tell you who built the house. For each participating builder we also profile, we show the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry licence number, its status, and the date we checked it — plus the cities they build in and our own profile of the company. We publish no listing details, addresses or photography from the event; those belong to the organiser.

Going to the Parade?
Two things are worth doing before you go. Decide which cities you are actually willing to build in — the tour spreads across the metro and a Saturday does not cover it — and check the licence of anyone you are seriously considering. Both are on each guide above, along with the hours, what admission costs, and where each of those facts came from.

What is the difference between the Parade of Homes and the Remodelers Showcase?
The Parade of Homes shows newly built homes over several weekends; the Remodelers Showcase shows remodelled homes on a single weekend at the end of the Parade window. The organiser runs both, spring and autumn, in the Twin Cities and Rochester.
Is the Parade of Homes free?
The organiser’s Tour FAQ says touring is always free except for a few homes the Housing First Minnesota Foundation selects as Dream Homes, which charge $7 at the door. Each guide below states which homes on that tour are Dream Homes, when the organiser has published them.
