City Homes is a woman-owned Edina custom builder, remodeler, and small-scale infill developer working mainly in Edina, southwest Minneapolis, and around Lake Minnetonka. It builds 12 to 15 homes plus about two remodels a year — roughly nine months per home — with eight staff.
Housing First Minnesota named it 2025 Builder of the Year, an honor the firm describes as the first for a women-led builder in Minnesota. The same year it took Silver for Minnesota's Best Builder in the Star Tribune readers' poll and a Houzz Best of Design award; Edina Magazine named it the city's best custom home builder in 2024 after a Best Of finalist run in 2023, and it won three first-place Midwest Home Design Awards in 2021. Its 2017 Reggie Award was for Best Home over $1.2 million.
Its developments are Sidell Trail, Blake Circle, and Edina Flats, plus the ROW row-home projects at Valley View, 50th, and Upton in Minneapolis. Its 2026 Summer Artisan Home in Edina is listed at $2.5 million.
