Mark D. Williams Custom Homes builds high-end custom homes and takes on whole-home remodels across the Twin Cities from its office in Excelsior. Founder Mark Williams is a third-generation builder with more than 20 years of home-building experience leading a team of five, and the firm builds around a wellness-first philosophy — indoor air quality, non-toxic materials, and biophilic design — expressed in its Scandinavian-inspired flagship home, Mysa Hus.
Housing First Minnesota named the firm its Minnesota Builder of the Year for 2021. Its homes were Fall Parade of Homes Dream Homes in 2019 and 2020, it toured again in Fall 2023, and Houzz has recognized it with Best of Houzz Design awards every year from 2018 through 2026 alongside five Service awards.
