TreHus Architects + Builders is a Golden Valley design-build firm founded in 1982 by Dave Amundson, keeping architecture, interior design, and construction under one roof for whole-house remodels, additions, kitchens, baths, and custom homes across Minneapolis and St. Paul. Its team of 43 includes AIA architects and ASID interior designers, and the firm marked 44 years in 2026.
Its award record runs two decades deep: 19 Chrysalis Awards for Remodeling Excellence between 2004 and 2023, 17 NARI awards from 2006 to 2020, five Housing First Minnesota Remodeler of Merit Awards, Master Design Awards in 2007 and 2020, ASID design awards in 2018 and 2019, and 11 Best of Houzz awards since 2019.
