JPC Custom Homes is a second-generation family builder in Buffalo, founded by John Kothrade in 1984 and now led by his son Phillip, working across Wright, Hennepin, and Carver counties. Its six-person team cites more than 140 years of combined experience.
The firm builds in Highlands of Hanover, Upward Acres and Bechtold Farms at Rush Creek in Corcoran, The Enclave at Lake Ida in Monticello, Ames at Black Lake in Buffalo, and on Lake Sarah in Independence, and showed in the 2026 Spring Parade of Homes. Midwest Home recognized two of its projects in 2022 — a second place for vacation homes and a third for a bath.
