Kuhl Design + Build is a Hopkins design-build firm started in 1999 by Steve Kuhl and Dan Murphy, taking on large residential remodels and custom new construction with an in-house design and carpentry team of thirteen, including an Allied ASID lead interior designer.
The Builders Association of the Twin Cities gave the firm a Remodelers of Merit Award in 2012 for a whole-house remodel under 2,500 square feet and two more in 2013, for a kitchen and a lower level. It showed in the 2015 Spring Remodelers Showcase.
