Pillar Homes has designed and built custom homes in the western Twin Cities — Wayzata, Orono, Minnetonka, Edina, and Plymouth — since 1995, marking thirty years in 2025. Its principals have led both trade associations it belongs to, serving as BATC president in 2008 and Builders Association of Minnesota president in 2016.
Houzz has recognized the firm nine times since 2018 for design and service, and ranked one of its houses first in its "10 Most Popular New Exteriors" feature in 2025 — the same year an Artisan Home Tour audience voted one of its houses Home of the Tour.
