About Mikan Custom Homes

Written from the sources above

Mikan Custom Homes is a family-owned builder based in Shorewood that builds luxury custom homes and does high-end remodeling for Lake Minnetonka-area communities. Its work includes new homes, renovations and full teardown-and-rebuilds, and the owners say they are on site daily.

Its process starts with an in-person consultation, then design with the client's designer and architect, an online project portal during construction, and a warranty discussion at completion.

Mikan had homes on the Artisan Home Tour in 2021, 2022, fall 2024 and fall 2026, and is entered in the fall 2026 Remodelers Showcase. Housing First Minnesota gave it the Artisan Home of the Tour Award for the fall 2024 tour.
